Hilton and Maritz Travel are working on a
Meetings mean Business Coalition in an attempt to prove their benefit to a distaste as times in their
potential market population for business travel. This distaste is understable when the cost of
the business travel exceeds the client/s hoped for return on investment for
their business venture’s travels. The
question becomes when is business travel a true profit in dollars to the
business traveler? Hilton and Maritz are
resting their project on three pillars, “the
group will organize its effort around three pillars: creating personal
connections, driving positive business outcomes and building strong communities”,
with this they sound like they have a good approach for entering into dialogue
