I know that topics like the one about to
be mentioned could take on a vibe of too complex, not my job, or that’s a topic
my friend likes. This characteristic
might be universal acrosss all business news when a particular sector and
segment begin to be explored with even a beginning of thoroughness.
Here, I give my entry for our
consideration- customer core in revenue management for the hotel and cruiseship
industry.
Customer core, if this is defined as the
customer is the sole perspective to work from when management sits to
contemplate their dollars in revenue. A
parallel interdisciplinary school of thought says this in the phrase ‘client
centered psychology’. In that context
the sitting psychologist potentially had this in mind with particular focus
during and before the client’s in office appointment.
Go ahead, relax, sit, stand, or walk, and,
have a property chart in mind while brainstorming about being the paying hotel
guest/client who has just arrived at our doors.
