     I’m writing from my home office in New York amidst online discussions and news reporting on the World Economic Forum gathering in Davos, Switzerland that many look at with curiosity due to the prominence that this  group of leading thinkers has.  It sounds that we have reason to be optimistic and have clarity of mind because their presentation sounds wonderful thus far conveying useful contemplations within the global economic context.

     Travel and tourism/hotels and hospitality have a sizable list of practices when looked at as a multi-parted whole, all oriented towards serving the traveling client in as many ways as contience, and budget at times, allows. 

     What of commoditization of the industry?  This was on the table for discussion at hotel news now, HNN, earlier today and might still be on their landing page.  There appears to be anxiety over this though am asserting that the finance markets calling hotel properties of significant value in this bit of professional lingo of sorts is more a compliment than a worry.  Have a great rest of the week!
